This high profile wand tilt mechanism is used in 2″ wood and faux wood blinds that have a 2” by 2 ¼” headrail. It tilts the slats open and closed.
This part is considered heavy-duty because it has a metal shaft and internal gear. This will provide a longer life than an all-plastic mechanism.
It comes with a hook and sleeve attached for easy wand installation.
It has a 5/32″ square hole, and the foot of the tilt mechanism fits in a 1″ headrail punch. The punch is the rectangular cut out where the shaft of the tilt mechanism sticks through the bottom of the headrail.
This mechanism twists the opposite way of most others. When the wand is twisted clockwise, the gear inside the mechanism moves counter-clockwise. This means that you may have to twist the wand in the opposite direction than you’re used to when opening or closing the slats on your blind.
White plastic body and silver metal shaft and gears.
